currently getting a revamp, neopets, is so cool. play alone, in online communities or with friends! its a virtual pet site, and you can have penpals on there too :) its pretty cool. watch out for random scientology though, the history of neopets is a little iffy.

self care n tips
i have some agoraphobia, anxiety and depression issues that get really bad if i dont take care of myself. If i spend too much time sitting at home, if i dont socialize enough, if i spend too much time on social media... it gets really bad and i end up bedrotting, so here are things i do to help avoid that without too much effort! shared in case it helps anyone else.
I love to sit in public spaces like coffee shops or mcdonalds. places with wifi or just a park or something and do my own thing- art, writing, website building, neopets or whatever. and occasionally making conversation with someone nearby like "oh i like your shirt!" or something. its a really easy way to fill my social meter without actually doing a lot of socializing.
i highly recommend looking on tiktok and searching for blogs and stuff about certain areas to check out locally. like duluth, georgia is basically Korea-Town. korean grocery stores, kareoke bars, k-pop photo booths and stationary shops, cat cafes, all kinds of stuff. and helen, georgia is cool, too. i grew up in a small, janky town in the south-east US and didn't know such fun places existed near me for DECADES lol... just search up "fun places to visit in YOUR-STATE" or "hidden gems to do in YOUR-STATE" and see what comes up!
wait for a hot day. get a bunch of friends over, get the ingredients ready in advance. set the oven to 425, chop up some veggies, oil them (olive oil), season them with your favorite seasonings (salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder, paprika) and lay them out on a pan and put them in the oven. wait about 25-30 minutes, unless the veggies start looking done. in the meantime, use a flour tortilla, put cheese and whatever you like on it (onions for me, chicken for my cutiepie). oil the edges, fold it in half and pinch the edges together. lightly oil and season the outside (paprika, chili powder, onion powder) and put it in the oven. check it every 5-10 minutes and check the veggies. get little bowls/cups of sour cream or salsa or whatever. sit outside (or inside) and sip cold drinks and eat easy, yummy cooked food.
i love making websites! on anything that lets you lol, i've been making websites since i was a little kid. its like, 'i like making lists' x10, and there's so many kinds you can make. for your OCs, or roleplay or for your hobby (or hobbies), or topics you find interesting or literally anything!! seriously i think everyone should try it. easier ones are carrd, wix, and then there's this one, neocities, which has a learning curve but is super cool and fun!
I have some resources if you're using neocities! i get my graphics and templates from a lot of places, here are some! templates and more templates and templates, tutorials and other stuff, backgrounds and graphics and MORE graphics. then there's this html color coder i use, and basic gif making/editing and free cursors and various things and some more various things
