Four unlikely friends (and a dog, too!) are forced to team up when a series of murders begin to hit a little too close to home.
Crystal Cove, a community on the east coast, is no stranger to mysteries. Disappearances, murders and strange happenings are so common, the students of Oasis High have running jokes and superstitions around them- much to the chagrin of their parents and teachers. The adults in Crystal Cove tend to keep quiet on the odd things that happen around the small town.
But when a string of disappearances become a string of bodies found, clues found at each scene draw four very different students together. When their parents are dismissive of their concerns, Fred, Velma, Daphne and Shaggy are forced to leave the comfort of their cliques to piece together the clues and solve the murders together... before it's too late.

- Name: Freddy Jones

- Brief Bio: Fred grew up knowing he was adopted, but with no information on his parents. All he has of them was the blanket he was left in, and a key that had been tucked into it. His adoptive family disapprove of his focus on fashion and consider him 'flamboyant'.

- Personality: Intelligent, tech-literate, witty and sarcastic. Jaded, with expectations of being disliked, but kind beneath the surface. Stubborn and strong-willed.
- Brief Bio: Velma was raised in a conservative, traditional family- one that didn't let her embrace herself outwardly. Although she outwardly fights the rules she finds unfair, such as the requirement to wear a skirt to school, she ultimately withdrew, hiding behind fiction and expressing herself authentically only through a screen.

Daphne

- Brief Bio: Growing up, Daphne always came second to her older sister. Especially in her parent's eyes. Hoping to catch their favor one day, she put her all into both sports and academics, with little success. Falling into her sister's shadow, Daphne uses her ability to go unnoticed to her advantage, often attending major events and shows without anyone even realizing she left.

With distant, preoccupied parents, he was left to his own devices, where he spent most of his time on food, and observing the world around him- the strange world of his town, and his home. Quiet and left alone, but paying attention, William- aka "Shaggy"- has a lot to say, if anyone learns how to listen.
